Who is That Girl? Alessandra Anjos
Beyond Content
“Beyond content creation, I’m just a normal girl in my twenties discovering life as I go. At the same time, I feel like I’ve already lived many different versions of myself." From studying Media Communication in Brazil to learning Korean in Seoul and working in the K-beauty industry as a marketing manager, her experiences continue to shape the way she creates today.
"I’m also someone who loves a challenge. I’m always trying to build new habits, set new goals, and grow little by little. That feeling of evolving is what keeps me excited about life."
She describes herself as “a shy ENFP,” someone who may seem quiet at first but becomes playful and talkative once comfortable. Outside of content, her happiness lives in simple rituals. “My perfect day would be a self care day, doing a long everything shower, taking care of my skincare slowly, caring for my hair, baking a banana cake, and then reading a book or watching Netflix.”
Content Journey
“I started creating content in 2021, right before moving to Korea to study… When I arrived, that habit naturally turned into daily vlogs. I wanted to keep a visual diary of my life abroad.”
Acne struggles also made her content personal and meaningful. “It was never planned as a ‘niche’ — it came from a genuine place, and people connected with the honesty of it.”
Nearly five years later, her life is more stable, and her content has grown with her. “Many followers tell me that watching my videos feels like talking to a close friend who lives abroad, and this is the most special thing for me.”
Creative Process
“My creative process usually starts in a very simple way. I always carry one agenda where I organize my whole life, and this is also where I write all my content ideas. Sometimes an idea suddenly comes to my mind, so I immediately note it down.”
She then revisits ideas, plans them carefully, scripts the scenes, and edits to maintain the same mood and feeling of her daily life. Inspiration also comes from her community.
“I talk with my followers very often through DM, and when I see a question or a topic that many people are curious about, I transform that into content. In this way, my ideas come not only from me, but also from real conversations and real experiences.”
Picky Club, Growth and What's Next
When asked about Picky Club, Ale states that “the Picky Club Box and the Magazine are also something I truly enjoy. It is always exciting to discover new products, test them, and share my honest feedback with the brands. I love opening the box and checking what the new trends are.”
The magazine in particular has a special nostalgia for her. “Going through the pages, seeing the products and reading the stories of other creators brings me back to when I was a teenager reading beauty magazines alone in my room. Being able to hold it and flip the pages makes the experience slower, more personal, and really nostalgic.”
Milestones like being on the cover of Picky Club still feel unreal. “I think the Ale from five years ago would be so shocked and so proud… someone please pinch me!” Speaking on a creator panel at SeoulCon and meeting followers in Brazil were equally memorable, reminding her that "the connections we build online can truly become something meaningful offline." Now fully focused on content, Ale wants to explore more long-form formats on YouTube to show deeper stories, her regular routines, and her personal experiences. "I feel this is a new phase for me, and I am very ready and excited for it!”
