Who is that girl? Nani

Nani has built her world by connecting two cultures that have shaped who she is. As one of the early creators consistently sharing Korea with Spanish-speaking audiences, she has become a bridge between Korea and Latin America through music, beauty, storytelling, and everyday life.

Behind her polished and instantly recognizable content is years of discipline, curiosity, and a willingness to keep evolving without losing the closeness she has built with her community.

From introducing Korean culture to Latin audiences to bringing Latin energy back into Korea, Nani’s journey is rooted in connection—and in the belief that creativity can bring people closer, no matter the language.

INTRODUCTION

If you were a hashtag what would you be?

If I were a hashtag, I would be #PinkLover, because I love pink. I have my whole room decorated in pink, even my computer is pink—that’s how much of a pink lover I am.

BECOMING THE BRIDGE

You were one of the first creators consistently introducing Korea to a Spanish-speaking audience. Looking back, what made you realize there was a space for this kind of content?

When I first started creating content in Korea, many people asked me to show places and experiences in English. However, I wanted to create and keep my content in Spanish because when I first got into K-pop and K-dramas 20 years ago, there was very little content I could find in my own language.

I think continuing to create my videos in Spanish has allowed me to show Korean companies and audiences that there is also a huge, incredible, and loyal audience in Latin America that enjoys and consumes music, K-dramas, and everything related to Korea.

I’ve always believed that music is an incredible way to connect through emotions and discover other cultures. After all, we are all human beings who experience love, sadness, highs, and lows. That’s how I discovered Korea, and I wanted the same to happen for Koreans: for them to discover Latin America and connect with our Latin music. Maybe they wouldn’t understand our language, but they could still feel the joy in our rhythms.

I think a big part of that drive comes from wanting to be that bridge between both cultures and showing that, even though we speak different languages, there are so many things we can share and enjoy together.

Looking back at your earliest videos, what do you think has changed the most—both in your content and in yourself?

My eyebrows, hahaha. I used to have really thick eyebrows, and now I’ve changed the color and made them thinner.

I also used to be more shy about showing the things I liked. For example, I thought I had to be an expert at makeup, in order to do it. Now I’m not afraid to experiment and share all the things I’m passionate about.

It may sound silly, but those little changes have made a huge difference, and they have definitely been reflected in my content.

You stay incredibly connected to Latin American culture and trends. How important is it for you to maintain a balance between both worlds: Korean and Latam?

For me, maintaining that balance is everything. I am who I am because I grew up in Latin America, but I’ve also been listening to K-pop for 20 years. The person I am today wouldn’t exist without that influence.

YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS

Your content always feels incredibly polished while still feeling
honest and relatable. How do you find that balance?

Most of the time, there are many hours behind every piece of content,
between creating and editing. But at the end of the day, I’m just a girl,
and I use that to my advantage. I love showing my girls the things I know
they’ll enjoy and that we can have fun with together.

Whats your favorite style of content to create?

Lately, I’ve been loving sharing makeup content, and I really enjoy trying different styles for my photos. I love that Barbie quote, “Be anything you want to be.” So, hey, you never know what style I’ll show up with tomorrow… and honestly, neither do I!

Your consistency is incredible—there’s rarely a day where we don’t see new content from you. How have you built a workflow that allows you to create at such a high level every day?

For me, creating content isn’t just a hobby that I enjoy; it’s also my job.
That’s why I dedicate at least 11–12 hours every day to creating content. Some people might not believe it, but I can even spend hours just
organizing and editing a photo carousel, haha.

How do you stay creatively inspired after creating content for so many years?

I think the most important thing is not to stay in the same place where you started, because eventually, you change and grow too. Even your interests and tastes can change. For example, right now, I really love creating makeup and skincare content, whereas before, I didn’t even know how to do my own makeup.

I feel like that’s how you can find new inspiration—not by staying in your comfort zone, but by continuing to move forward and not being afraid to learn from others, even from people who are just starting out on social media. Personally, I love watching content from creators who are just starting out because they have this sense of freshness and authenticity. I really enjoy finding inspiration in them.

Thanks to the people who support me and send me such sweet messages
as well. They are my biggest inspiration and my daily dose of vitamins.

STYLE AND VISUAL IDENTITY

People often describe your videos as feeling like they’re exploring
Korea alongside a friend. How do you maintain the closeness through social media?

I love reading and replying to the little messages people leave me.
Thanks to them, I can better understand what they’re looking for, what
they like, and what entertains them. I think that interaction is one of the
things that helps me maintain that sense of closeness the most.

I love making people’s hearts flutter, so, girl, just tell me who your
bias is or what makeup you love, and I’ll bring it to you. Wuju.

You have such a recognizable way of telling stories. What do you
think makes a video feel authentically “Daniela”?

“See you in Korea” isn’t just a phrase I use to end all my videos; it’s a pinky-promise I make. Because I know and truly hope that everyone who follows me can also achieve their dreams, and that one day we can meet in Korea.

Do you think having a recognizable identity has been important to building your community?

Yes, definitely. Having a recognizable identity has been very important in building my community, but I also believe it’s important to leave room for change. We are human beings, and we are constantly evolving, and our community grows and evolves alongside us.

Don’t be afraid to experiment and explore new paths, even when you feel like something doesn’t fit your “identity.” Sometimes, those new chapters end up revealing a side of you that your community was also waiting to discover.

LIFE AS A CREATOR

Your work has led you to experiences with major brands, events, and even celebrities. Is there one experience that stands out as especially memorable?

I always look back fondly on the day I got to dance alongside the idols I used to make dance covers of when I was younger. Being able to share that moment with them was something I never imagined I would experience, and I’m sure it will keep shining in my memory forever.

Beyond the exciting opportunities, what’s been the most rewarding part of being a creator?

Getting to meet incredible friends and discovering parts of myself that I didn’t even know existed. I’m usually very shy and introverted, but when I create content,  I become as LE SSERAFIM say: “Fearless” Nani. Hahaha.

PICKY CLUB

Do you remember when you first joined Picky Club? What has your experience with the community been like?

Our first meeting was over dinner, and at the time, we were just a small group of people. You guys have grown so much since then. Let’s keep working hard and growing together in the future!

LOOKING AHEAD

Is there a type of content you’ve always wanted to explore but haven’t had the chance to yet?

Our first meeting was over dinner, and at the time, we were just a small group of people. You guys have grown so much since then. Let’s keep working hard and growing together in the future!

What advice would you give to creators who are trying to build a long-term career while staying authentic to themselves?

Keep your foundations strong: your friends, your values, your discipline, and your financial stability. In this world, it’s very easy to get dazzled by everything that comes with success, but keeping those foundations strong will help you stay true to yourself and not lose yourself along the way.
