What's Coming in 2026: Picky Club's Trend Predictions

Hi Picky Club Members,

You’re always ahead of the trend curve, but we couldn’t resist giving you a little sneak peek at what we think will be so in for 2026. With the Year of the Horse bringing fast-forward momentum and bold, forward energy, expect a year full of personality, confidence, and expressive style.

Hats are Back

2026 is officially the year of accessorizing with intention. Hats of all shapes, styles, and personalities are making a huge comeback. Whether it’s a baseball cap, a structured beret, a cozy beanie, or a dramatic wide brim, hats will be the statement piece of the year. We have seen a rise in maximalism in the last months of 2025 and it’s not leaving us anytime soon.

The Side Part Renaissance

Middle parts have had a long, strong moment… but side parts are ready to step back into the spotlight. Think soft swoops tucked behind the ear, or a clean side clip to frame the face. It’s giving chic, effortless, and just a little nostalgic. Expect creators, stylists, and everyday trend-setters to start shifting to a more feminine side part tuck.

Goodbye Soft Clean, Hello Expressive Makeup

We’re moving away from the quiet minimalism of the “clean girl” aesthetic and into a more expressive, personality-driven makeup era. The shift has already begun with the “toasty makeup” trend: warm bronzy blushes, glazed and bronzed skin, and cozy-toned lips. In 2026, expect this to evolve into even bolder looks:

Eyes: Smoky eyes making a confident comeback, with more colored eyeshadows on the daily. Defined lower lashes are becoming a signature detail.

Lips: Blurred lips still holding strong (thankfully!). We are moving aways from really defined lips to a more blurry over lined moment.

Blush: Blush ones are dividing into two main moods: mauves for cool tones, terracottas for warm.
